So many things are going on and have happened recently that I’m going to post one of my world famous bullet blog posts (I know you’ve all heard about them): Courtney and I recently bought a bunch of LP’s (records) that we want to frame and hang in the basement (we figured music+art+media room=framed LP’s). [...]

Our super fun trip to Talladega can be broken into four parts: The Long Drive The Camping The Motorsports Hall of Fame The Race The Long Drive The long drive was 1600 miles round trip (~13 hours each way if you don’t encounter traffic/problems). We saw beautiful scenery, tons of McCain supporters, and a lot [...]

While Courtney worries about the important stuff relating to our trip to Talladega I am left to concern myself with more entertaining pursuits. My top priority: fitting in with the local inhabitants of Alabama. Some things that we need to do are obvious: Display NASCAR themed flags. Wear nothing related to Barack Obama. No beer [...]

This past weekend the NARSCAR Sprint Cup and Nationwide Races came to Kansas Speedway. Race weekends are always a lot of fun, despite Kansas Speedway being a “cookie-cutter track” and one of the most boring tracks to watch as a fan. It’s not just about the racing, however, it’s about the tailgaiting, the people watching, the [...]

It all started on Friday because I didn’t have to work. We decided it would be fun to go to the Royals game since they were having “The Big Sky Show” (a fireworks show that was supposedly going to last 3 times longer than any previous show and be the biggest Kansas City has ever [...]

I don’t have anything big to blather about this week, so I’m just gonna post bullets: Tony bought my motorcycle. I hope he pays in full before he kills himself. Almost done painting my subwoofer boxes … I’m getting real antsy to hook them back up now that I have my subwoofer EQ too. Daytona [...]

This weekend I started Project LFE! A couple of weeks ago I bought two Rythmik 15 inch servo subs to put in our home theater (go here to read why servo subs kick ass). I admit I went a little overboard, but I wanted a flat response down into the subsonic frequencies … I hope [...]

For my groomsmen gifts I bought Chiefs tickets to the Chargers game this year. That meant that for the first time in I-don’t-know-why-it’s-never-happened-before I was going to a NFL game with a bunch of good friends! Saturday night everyone met at my house for some pre-football festivities. The party started with Transformers in HD-DVD. Earlier [...]

Courtney and I went to buy the alcohol for our wedding this weekend. We tooled around for about 30 minutes (at Sams Club) with this big flatbed cart loading up cases and bottles until Courtney had checked everything off of her list. I kinda felt like a rock star- you really get a lot of [...]

I am so relieved that the Chiefs won a game! Three losses (without a win) was not something I was looking forward too. More importantly, during the last half of the game everyone was fired up- Dwayne Bowe and Jared Allen were really impressive. Those two are giving me some hope for this season! On [...]
